Samples But Happy has announced the release of Free Sampler Plate, a free collection of 130 drum and synth shots from their various commercial packs.
Samples But Happy might sound familiar to you, a few months ago we wrote about 808 But More Compressed, a fantastic pack with literally tons of 808 drums, recorded through a Gates Sta-Level vintage compressor.
The new bundle freebie contains selected sounds from all the sample packs currently available on Samples But Happy, including 707 From Gotham, 808 But V72’d, Best Day Drums, DATs For CATs, DDrum But Compressed, DDrum But Harmonized, Guitarotron, Jupiter, Synth Drums From Gotham, etc.
Jacob James Brody of Samples But Happy told us there’s also included bonus sounds from an unreleased pack called “Tea Cup Drums”. Plus a 30% discount code valid on all future orders.
As content, expect drum samples sourced from drum machines (707, 808), but also processed live drum shots, Farfisa keys & basses, vocals, synths, and many more. I can safely say that this pack is one of the most original I’ve downloaded lately.
All the samples are delivered in 24-bit WAV format. They’re royalty-free and can be used in commercial productions.
