DixonBeats releases Dixon’s Zither, a free virtual instrument plugin based on samples of a toy wooden Zither instrument.
Here’s the story of the instrument:
Zither all started when I managed to purchase one from eBay. It was relatively cheap but I thought it would be great to make it accessible to you for FREE.

The plugin features a very easy-to-use GUI and comes with 4 instrument presets, each of which has different characteristics and moods: “Natural” (the normal Zither played), “Dark” with a dark/ sinister type of sound, “Pad” which has a lovely granular feel to it, and “Reverse”, where the samples are reversed and further processed.
Dixon’s Zither is available as freeware in VST/VST3 Windows and VST/VST3 & AU macOS plugin formats.
