Yuri Semenov aka PseudoStereo has announced the release of Expander and Stereo, two new free VST/AU effects for Windows and macOS.
With Expander, you can carefully remove unnecessary noises and those too long “tails” by making room for reverberation, which will give a cleaner unmeasured sound. By default, it can be placed first in the plugin chain on each track. It will also help to return the dynamics to a compressed source.
Stereo is a plugin for controlling the stereo component for the master channel. It has an individual cut filter of low frequencies for central and side signals. The equalizer is a shelf for adjusting frequencies below 650 Hz for side channels without affecting the central one. It frees the center from excess low frequencies, also with a scarce low middle, it adds energy to this frequency range and creates a good amount of “enveloping” effect.
Both plugins are available in 32-/64-bit VST & AU plugin versions for DAWs operating on Windows and macOS. They’re available for download via Google Drive.
