Flintpope has announced the release of 16 Pads, a free sample library for Native Instruments Kontakt, featuring cinematic atmospheres.
Flintpope says that 16 Pads for Kontakt is the follow-up of a previous Ableton Simpler set designed to produce “interesting ambience”. It consists of a series of cinematic atmospheres which evolve as they play, taking the listener on an audio journey. Combined with Kontakt’s convolution reverb and 3-Way EQ these sounds are dense and sometimes spectacular.

The demo above uses five of these pads to create an aural landscape.
16 Pads requires the full version of Native Instruments Kontakt. But if you don’t have Kontakt, you can simply load up the attached WAV samples in any sampler or DAW of choice.
