The Unfinished has announced the release of Aanaa – The Unfinished Choir, a free vocal sample library for Native Instruments Kontakt 6.
The Unfinished says Aanaa is a Christmas gift to all supporters. The library comprises 12 patches: 6 choir patches and 6 vocal drones. The samples were created by Matt Bowdler (aka The Unfinished) singing into an Aston Spirit microphone that went into a UAD 6176 analogue channel strip. Then the recordings were processed and transformed using some of his favorite plugins from developers such as Eventide, Soundtoys, UAD, and Valhalla.
Aanaa is 150MB in size when uncompressed and uses the .ncw format to keep the file footprint as small as possible. It requires a full version of NI Kontakt 6 (Kontakt Player or any previous versions of Kontakt aren’t supported).
The download is instant, registration isn’t required.
