Quiet Music has released Healing Lite, a free virtual instrument plugin featuring Tibetan bowls and percussions used for sound therapy and meditation.
Healing Lite is the follow up of Serenity and Quiet Piano, both receiving a lot of downloads since launch. Unlike its predecessors, Healing comes in two variants, one commercial and one free.
Healing Lite uses original 24-bit/96khz recordings of Tibetan bowls/singing bowls, rainstick and tingsha. The interface is using a familiar structure with 10 pads, where those noted with letters trigger the sounds of a large and a medium bowl, while the 2 central pads have the sounds of the rainstick and the Tibetan tingsha. Both central pads have several samples stacked in round-robin mode. Each pad has gain and pan controls.
The free version is 100% usable, the differences being that the full version comes with another 22 presets, ADSR support, 2 filter modes, reverb, and output pan control. Don’t imagine that the commercial version costs a fortune, you can buy it starting at €5 (name your price).
Healing lite is a free VST/VST3/AU instrument for Windows & macOS 32/64 bit.
