Sampleson has announced the release of CollaB3, a free organ virtual instrument in VST, AU and standalone formats.
CollaB3 is a free vintage tonewheel organ emulation created to help musicians and creatives around the world stay home during the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide quarantine.
Here’s what Sampleson says about their new free organ instrument: “COVID-19 pandemic is a global crisis, but also an opportunity to help us with each other and do great things. This is what motived us to create a FREE studio-quality instrument to help homebound music makers stay home and stay safe!
We teamed with LalalaSynth, LibreWave, and Studio427 to create a fascinating instrument. Together, we developed CollaB3: A Vintage Tonewheel Organ emulation. It’s just 40MB and CPU friendly. It also includes Rotary Speaker and Tonewheel Leakage emulation.”
CollaB3 features a detailed reproduction of noises, clicks, leakage, rotary speaker and tonewheel. Also, it includes two effect modules, chorus and reverb.
CollaB3 is available in VST/AU and standalone for Windows, macOS, and Linux. The download link will be sent via email address.
This plugin goes very well with Kee Bass, a free instrument plugin that emulates a monophonic string bass keyboard from the ’60s. And because we talk about Sampleson here, it worth also mentioning Push, an unique and very interesting “one-button” subtractive synth that generates a random preset with each touch of the button.
