Wavesfactory has announced the release of W-Clock, a free Kontakt instrument created with sounds of a carillon from a wall clock, along with its ‘tick tack’ and engine.
Recorded in stereo, 44.1KHz and 24 bits and 2 round robin (repetitions) for each note.
This clock only makes 6 notes: C, F, G, A, Bb, C. But it has been pitch-shifted so you can have the entire scale. The demo song is the real song that it plays every hour.
It has a lovely character that you can’t reproduce with any synth because every note sounds slightly different.
