Pepto Audio has released Simple Hit, a free virtual instrument plugin (ROMpler) for Windows and macOS.
Simple Hit is a sample-based virtual instrument offering a collection of 15 orchestra hits including both old classics and original interpretations. As its name suggests, this plugin is very minimal and aims to be a simple tool for adding 90s hit shots to your tracks.
The GUI has a nice retro look and comes with a simple reverb module, global volume, and previous/next buttons.
Simple Hit can be used in genres such as Retropop, Synthpop, EDM, Lofi, etc.
This plugin is available as VST/VST3 for Windows and VST/VST3 & Audio Unit for macOS.
