Pyjama Planet has announced the release of Cello Choir and Cello Pad, two new free Kontakt synth pad instruments based on live cello samples.
The cello was recorded with an AKG414; multiple cello samples were then mixed together and manipulated to create 2 synth pads that exaggerated the majesty of a cello.
From the singing Cello Choir to the dreamy Cello Pad, these two Kontakt instruments are great for adding layers of angelic backing chords or melodies to your music.
Cello Pad is a 3 tiered Synth Pad that sounds like a group of cellists playing in a warm bath, and Cello Choir is a single-layered synth pad that sounds like a comfy pillow whistling at you from a distance. Load individually, or together.
These virtual instruments require a full version of Native Instruments Kontakt 5.8 or above.
Trumpetuba is another cool free Kontakt library by Pyjama Planet, which is a unique synth pad made from live trumpet samples.
