Today, we’re going to use Serum to create a Reese style bass patch from scratch. My goal with this video is to show you HOW to approach making this type of sound.
The sound created in the video is pretty cool, but you can make it even more unique and interesting by adding FX and experimenting with different wave shapes.
In my opinion, Serum is one of the most powerful softsynths available, especially for sound design. If you’re interested in sound design, especially for EDM, I think it’s well worth the money. Keep in mind, it can be pretty heavy on CPU.
