JMinorMusic has announced the release of Iron & Rust, a free virtual instrument for Native Instruments’ Kontakt 5.
Iron & Rust contains over 150 presets from a wide range of sounds, including hits, pads, stingers, and FX. The samples have been converted to Kontakt NCW files to save space without compromising sound quality. Therefore, the sample library is roughly 1.3GB in size.
Moving on to the GUI aspects, the instrument sports multi-effects section (reverb, delay, cabinet etc), arpeggiator with 16 steps, compression module, a 3-band equalizer, as well as an FX tweak module, lowpass and highpass filters and ADSR envelope.
Iron & Rust free Kontakt instrument can be downloaded via JMinorMusic. Keep in mind that, in order to work, a full version of Native Instruments Kontakt is required for this library.
