Oblivion Sound Lab has released OSL Chorus, a new free chorus plugin for Windows and Mac.

OSL Chorus plugin has been modelled after the onboard chorus of the Juno 60 synthesizer. It is capable of producing rich and wide choruses that are perfect to enhance dry synthesizers, but it sounds equally good on guitar, bass and other instruments.

On the default state, OSL Chorus emulates the original unit, but when you go into its parameters, you can achieve various custom choruses ranging from subtle to extreme.

OSL Chorus has two delay lines, one mapped to the left channel and the other to the right channel. Both delay lines are modulated by a single triangle LFO. The chorus output is processed by a low-pass filter, and the wet and dry signals are then mixed.

The simple interface has controls for LFO rate and depth, as well as delay offset. Next, a low-pass filter for the chorus brightness and dry/wet knobs. Also is good to mention that all parameters can be automated from the host DAW. The free chorus plugin supports stereo-to-stereo and mono-to-stereo channels and is compatible with 32 and 64-bit hosts.

OSL Chorus is available in 32 and 64-bit VST (Win/Mac) and 32 and 64-bit Audio Unit (Mac) formats. The download (~3MB) is instant, you won’t need to register in order to get the plugin.
