Vidar Audio has released Hammer, a free hybrid modern and vintage compressor/limiter plugin for Windows and macOS.
Like the famous 1176, compression can be applied by turning up the INPUT.
This makes it easy to use and produces a modern, fat sound for tracks and buses.
Other features include a limiter function with RATIO, smooth compression with KNEE, parallel compression with MIX, and a channel-to-channel link with CH-LINK.
Hammer is available for Windows VST3 and AAX (Native) and macOS VST3, AU, AAX( Native).
