Audiolatry has announced the updated version 2.0 of its Drum8 free virtual instrument for Windows and macOS.

Now is compatible with the latest macOS versions, also it was optimized to be smaller in size. We added a tuning knob in the sample editor section, plus we made some design changes.

Drum8 is a collaboration between audiolatry (software development) and Cool WAV (sound design). It features a total of 40 kits for various music genres: Hip Hop, Trap, Pop, Lo-fi, EDM, etc. There are 320 sounds in total, including kicks, snares, claps, toms, hi-hats (closed & open), percussion, cymbals, fx, and more.
Drum8 is available in VST/VST3 & AU plugin formats for DAWs on Windows and macOS.
