Audio Blast has announced the release of BreadSlicer, a free creative effect plugin for DAWs on Windows and macOS.
BreadSlicer is described as a random auto glitch, auto breaks, and stutter. It cuts the incoming audio signal in multiple slices and replaces them in order to create breaks and glitches on the loop. A random algorithm for the reverse of the sound can be applied at any time during the activation of the effect.
The plugin comes with 3 parameters: slice activated/deactivated (on/off), slice size (1/4 bar, 1/8 bar, 1/16 bar), and slice thickness (gate 0% to 100%).
BreadSlicer is available in AAX, Audio Unit, VST3, and VST2 plugin versions for Windows and macOS (M1 compatible). The download is instant, registration isn’t required.
