Red Sounds has announced the release of Cassette Toy Xylo, a free VST3 virtual instrument for Windows.
With Cassette Toy Xylo you can easily create retro-sounding Xylo tracks. Its sounds were sourced from a Toy Xylo, then passed through cassette tape for more grit and warmth.
The interface is intuitive and straightforward with an ADSR envelope, lowpass filter, reverb, and rate & depth for wobble. You also have the possibility to control main gain, sustain and hummer samples.
Cassette Toy Xylo is a VST3 instrument plugin for DAWs or other plugin hosts operating on Windows. Place the downloaded file into Program Files/Common Files/VST3, then perform a plugins scan into your DAW.
