Max Project has announced the release of T.Rex 64 – Proyecto Return, a free POMpler instrument plugin featuring the sounds of the legendary Commodore 64C with the SID 8580 sound chip.
The Commodore was sampled by Fernando Lachari in his “Proyecto Return” laboratory through a Yamaha 01V Mixer and via SPDIF to an Echo Mia sound interface without compression or normalization.
For the virtual instrument were chosen 8 kicks, 8 snares, 2 toms, 1 cowbell, 1 clap, and 2 hi-hats. All these sound patches have their graphical correspondent on the interface, in the form of pads. Regarding the controls, you will find basic ones, such as volume, panning, and a simple reverb.
T.Rex 64 – Proyecto Return is a VST/AU plugin for Windows and macOS (32- and 64-bit).
