Analog Waveforms has announced the release of Analog Waveforms, a free VST/AU plugin featuring the basic waveforms of Mopho analog synthesizer by DSi.
In order to offer an accurate and genuine sonic representation of the analog synthesizer, each waveform has been sampled note by note across 7 octaves. Each sample is 10 seconds in length and looped for sustain notes. All these samples were made available to the public domain, with the option to be downloaded separately from the plugin. However, the plugin itself is not public domain.
- 4 multi-sampled analog synthesizer waveforms: sawtooth, triangle, saw-triangle, pulse-width at 40%
- 355 MB of samples (16-bit, 44.1kHz mono Wav files)
- Room reverb
- Highpass/Lowpass filter
- Amplitude range controls
- 3 voice modes: polyphonic, monophonic, and legato
A few weeks ago, SampleScience also released Resonance, a free piano instrument plugin.
Analog Waveforms is available in VST/VST3 64-bit (Windows) and VST/AU 64-bit (macOS) plugin formats.
