Spitfire Audio has announced the release of LABS Wurli, a free VST/AU instrument for Windows and macOS.
Made popular in the 60s by legendary rock and jazz musicians, the Wurli is known for its warm vibrato and distinctly sharp tone, cutting through your music like a knife. You can also choose the “Super Soft” presets for a more mellow sound.
This Wurlitzer electronic piano was sampled at Spitfire Studios by engineer Henry Cornish.
Wurli work within LABS, Spitfire Audio’s VST/AU plugin for loading free libraries. LABS has already an array of free libraries including a trumpet, groove piano or strings. In order to download and use LABS, registration is required.
Until March 29th, Spitfire Audio is also hosting the Piano Day sale, offering 40% off four of their piano libraries.
