GowlerMusic has announced the release of Electroacoustic Music, a free sample pack containing 60 experimental sounds such as FX, grooves, and soundscapes.
Electroacoustic Music has been influenced by artists as Stockhausen and Xenakis. GowlerMusic says “we feel we’ve created a core collection of sounds useful for anyone looking to compose some experimental western art music”.
There are 11 types of sounds inside: sines, scapes, voice elements, sine arps, wildcards, pickup, quartet, live improv, grain, musique concrete, and border. These titles were given to emphasize the influence or method of construction for each sample.
These samples fit well with MusicRadar’s collection of free ambient/electronic drum samples. Add also Esfera 2 synthesizer plugin by Beat Assist, and fun is guaranteed.
