Beat Assist returns with BAT-S12, a free drum machine VST plugin for DAWs running on Windows.
BAT-S12 features 12 slots/pads in which you can load WAV and AIFF audio files. Each pad has controls for “body” (gate type, loop on/off and sample direction), sample start/end, attack & release, octave & pitch finetune, filter with type selector and cutoff & resonance and LFO with speed, mode & wave selector.
Effects include stereo delay and a simple reverb unit with mix button. Further, we find usual controls such as pan, gain and mute on/off, as well as a master volume.
