3 Minor Scales Explained: Natural, Harmonic, and Melodic

In this video, I’m going to be giving a brief history of modes and scales, and explaining why we have 3 minor scales. Plus, I’ll be showing you the difference between the 3 minor scales and how to remember them.

Understanding these scales should help you to better analyze melodies and chord progressions, and ultimately create better ones for yourself!

Technically, there are more than just 3 minor scales (pentatonic minor, jazz minor, Hungarian minor, etc), but these 3 are the ones which are (arguably) the most important and relate to most music that you’ll be creating in FL Studio.
