Ecliptiq Audio has announced the launch of its Magiq, a free Roland TB-303 bass synthesizer emulator for Native Instruments Kontakt.
Magiq is a simple Kontakt instrument that includes most important controls from the original hardware, such as attack/decay envelope, volume and a simple filter with cutoff and resonance, as well as accent, drive, bass tone and timbre.
One important aspect is you can switch between saw and square wave with a single click. Another important feature is the built-in switchable sequencer with 16 steps and 7 different tempi.
Magiq is a virtual instrument the works within the full edition of Native Instruments Kontakt; the Player version isn’t supported.
