Native Instruments has announced the release of Kinetic Treats, a free instrument for Kontakt Player.

At the core of Kinetic Treats is a library of carefully sampled children’s toys. This instrument is capable of creating evolving sounds and textures.

The instrument incorporates a unique 3D interface that enables high-level control of sonic parameters via the movements of a vintage music box and a tin robot. KINETIC TREATS is free to all NI newsletter subscribers until December 31.

KINETIC TREATS is the brainchild of renowned sound designer Jeremiah Savage. In keeping with his previous Native Instruments creation KINETIC METAL, the instrument blends and mangles meticulously sampled sounds into rich, morphing textures which range from the instantly familiar to the unrecognisable.

Native Instruments has also announced that is giving away a $25 e-voucher for use on any purchase from the NI online store. One lucky winner will also become the proud owner of Komplete 11 Ultimate, a Komplete Kontrol S49 keyboard, and Maschine Jam.

The offer (freebie, competition and e-voucher) are available until December 31st. Kinetic Treats requires the latest version of Kontakt 5 or the free Kontakt 5 player.
