Ample Sound has announced the release of Ample Bass P Lite II, a free bass guitar virtual instrument for Windows and Mac.
Ample Bass P Lite II is featuring samples of a Precision Bass bass guitar manufactured by Fender Musical Instruments Corporation. It is a smaller version of Ample Bass P, with fewer samples, 443 as compared to the 2851 samples found in the commercial version of this instrument.

The differences don’t stop there, fewer samples meaning a smaller size (450MB instead of 3.6GB). Further, Ample Bass P Lite II has 2 sampling cycles (4 in the full version), a reduced note range, fewer articulations, and the most important, the rample rate is 16bit/44.1khz versus 24bit/44.1khz.
But all these differences are perfectly justified, given that Ample Bass P Lite II is completely free without the need for any registration or social share. You get a fully functional bass instrument, with a cool interface with plenty of features, and a neat sound.
Free Ample Bass P Lite II virtual instrument is available in AU/VST/AAX/RTAS (32-/64-bit) versions for Windows and Mac.
