SympleSound returns with another freebie, a set of drum samples and MIDI files in the honor of LinnDrum and LM-1 master, Prince.
PurpleDrums is following 55 free LinnDrum samples by Samplephonics another tribute pack we mentioned few days ago.
Francis Preve of SympleSound brings now a custom Ableton drum rack based on samples from both the LM-1 and LinnDrum, as well as 10 royalty-free all-original MIDI loops, inspired by Prince’s approach to groove programming.

Beside MIDI loops, FL Studio users can use the 16 Linn LM-1 and LinnDrum samples to “dress” the MIDI’s or create their own grooves and beats. PurpleDrums also contains an interactive manual explaining Prince’s approach to drum production.
