Audio Imperia has announced the release of Deconstruct, a free sample library featuring experimental sound design elements by Bryan Leach.

The samples were created from recording the mechanics of the Roberts 1630 Reel to Reel tape recorder: switches, motor in play, fast forward and rewind, fan, latches on the cover, as well as the static from both speakers.

The sounds range from creepy textures to hits/slams and transitional thingy’s so… if you like cool sounds just go ahead and get this already.

Deconstruct contains high definition 48kHz/24bit WAV files and custom Kontakt patches (for the latter, full version of Kontakt 5.5 or higher is required).

In order to download the freebie, an account (free) at Audio Imperia is required.
