Sample Modern has announced the release of Detuned Upright, a free piano instrument for Native Instruments Kontakt.
The instrument has a rough sound, and is not usable for serious and classical music. To achieve this, the developer used a mobile phone microphone to record the piano sounds.
The specific detuned and “Low Quality” sound, makes it perfect for ambient, experimental, background and saloon music. Detuned Upright works with the full version of NI Kontakt 5+.
