Audiority has announced the release of Pure 808 Free, an 808 kick drum programmer for Kontakt by Native Instruments.
Pure 808 Free is based on Roland TR-808 sample set recorded in 1994 by Michael Fischer. (The sample pack can be downloaded for free here.)

The original samples were processed using an high grade mastering chain featuring Elysia EQ and transparent compressor, resulting a great, full, fat and punchy kick drum programmer.
If you have a full range of 808 kick drum samples, then why do you need a Kontakt instrument? Well, thanks to the interface, you can easily control tone and decay, and as a finishing touch, tweak the valve and tape saturation controls.
Pure 808 Free is highly recommended for all those who are producing trap, but also future RnB, future bass, neon bass, hip hop, urban etc. Full version of Native Instruments Kontakt 5 or higher is required.
