    Worldly Goods – Kontakt percussions and instruments free for limited time

    The Kiwis of Modwheel have announced that they’re giving away some free stuff.

    They mean Worldly Goods, a collection of 4 instruments for NI Kontakt. Worldly Goods’ patches we’re created from recordings taken in various travels – percussion sounds and instruments.

    Worldly Goods consists of Ice Gong, a set of stalactites recorded in Antarctica by Anthony Powell, Bambonezler– bones collected from around New Zealand, seed pods from The Philippines, wooden frog from Thailand, bamboo from Indonesia and BamStonezler (2 patches), created from recordings of slate tiles, hits tuned chromatically recorded at Lastour castle France, as well as shells from Australia and scraped stone from New Zealand.

    Worldly Goods is available as freeware for a limited time. It requires the full version of Kontakt 5.3.0 or higher.

    In order to get the free Kontakt instruments, you’ll have to add the pack to cart, then checkout- where you’ll have to fill a short form with your name and email address. The download size is 81MB.
