Plughugger has announced the release of Attack808, a new free collection of drum samples designed in style of Roland TR-808.
Attack808 was created with a RackAttack drum synthesizer by German manufacturer Waldorf. RackAttack is a drumsynth based on virtual synthesis aimed to emulate percussive sounds, especially the electro ones from analog drum machines.
The free library by Plughugger contains 24 sounds inspired by the Roland TR-808, inside you’ll find kicks, snares, cowbells and bass sounds. All the included sounds are captured with an Akai S950 hardware sampler using different settings.
