Noisecrux has announced the release of Planet of the Neon Machines, a free collection of presets for U-he Zebralette freeware synth.
The sound library is a bit of a tribute to classic 80’s pop and electronic music. There are cheesy basses, dirty leads, lush pads, glassy keys and punchy pluck sounds.
A good portion of the sounds are emulations of the analog classics but there are plenty of patches suitable for modern EDM, trance, house, dubstep and drum & bass.
Audio demo:
Zebralette is a free virtual synthesizer designed by u-he. It is a one-oscillator version of the commercial Zebra2 with two LFOs (one per voice, one global), a multi-stage envelope and three on-board effects (chorus, EQ, delay). You can download Zebralette for free here (Windows & Mac 32 and 64-bit).
The presets in the Planet of the Neon Machines soundbank are 100% royalty free for commercial and non-commercial productions.
