axisplugins has released a free version of its Moto Q equalizer– part of Moto Bundle, a collection of three plugins created in collaboration with Austrian composer Clara Moto. Moto Q is a 11-band equalizer, each track having a range of filters (hi/low pass, hi/low shelf2, notch and parametric) for adjustment.
Moto Q’s versatility does not end with the selection of filters it offers. Place your filter where desired by dragging directly in the filter graph or by using real-rotary-controls. Make precise changes to your filter’s parameters using the plus/minus controls. Enable or disable filters on the fly. Of course, only enabled filters use your processing power.
Two workspaces allow you to create and compare changes to your Moto Q to zero in on the ideal settings for your mix. Boost or cut your signal by +/- 24 dB. Save and load settings that will be available to you in any host. Moto Q supports sampling rates up to 192kHz.
Moto Q is offered as freeware in various formats and platforms: Audio Unit (AU), RTAS, VST, VST3 for Apple OS X 32bit/64bit and RTAS, VST, VST3 for Windows PC 32bit/64bit.
About every two minutes a nagscreen with “Sweet Valentine Only 39 ,-” appears, 39 (euros) being the price for the full bundle of three plugins including Moto Q, Moto CE and Moto L. However, the sound isn’t affected, the plugin works continuously, so the plugin is fully usable.
