SampleScience has released 1980 Modality, a free Kontakt instrument inspired by the 80’s era, especially by Depeche Mode’s sound.
Sampled at 24 bits 44hz from a resonating phase distortion synthesizer patche. Small effect chain used to make it more detailed and rich. The playable note range is short though, sorry about that. Still, I find it might be useful for some of you.
