Prime Loops has released The Sound Of Calvertron, a collection of over 400 MB of dubstep sounds: bass loops and samples, drum loops and samples plus SFX, created by dubstep magician- Calvertron.

The collection is 437 MB in weight and contains 270 samples and loops in high quality 24 Bit WAV format. It also comes in various formats like Rex2 loops, Apple loops, Ableton Live rack, Reason refill and more.
The Sound Of Calvertron library is split into 8 main folders: bass glides, bass stutters, drum loops, drum loops (no kick), one-shot samples, synth arpeggios, synth chords and synth squelches.
The folder containing one-shot samples consists in bass shots (bass and sub), drum hits (hihats, kicks and snares) and SFX shots.
All loops are at 140 BPM, 4 and 8 bars long giving you more space for chopping and variations. They are labelled like Bpm140_Key_LoopName, a help for all well-organized people like us :)
The one shot sounds are a valuable source of high quality sounds for creating your own drum patterns, bass shots and unique effects. They are 100% dubstep: hard hitting kicks, reverberated snares, subsonic basses and more.
Using loops in your music is not a sign of weakness. Sometimes you need some sounds you can’t create, using pre-made loops may guide to the best result. The difference is in the way you use that sound and, most important… the sound you use, the quailty of it.
Overall, reviewing the pack these days, I realised that I received a premium product plus a part of that crazy Calvertron treatment. And a big impulse to finish my dubstep tunes!
